Sunrise at Max Patch

I’ve known Kaley & Darrel for years, also photographing their engagement, wedding and now maternity session. Ya’ll there is no better feeling than having a couple come to you for years and years. Sharing their lives and watching them grow has got to be my favorite part of this job. Getting to experience all these beautiful milestones with clients who now feel like family. We met at sunrise at the trailhead to Max Patch. We had a lot of catching up to do while we hiked up. We laughed in-between moments of pure amazement of the views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Max Patch was one of Kaley’s favorite locations along the popular Appalachian Trail so having their session there was perfect! A huge thanks to these two for allowing me to follow them around during this session of their lives. I am forever grateful.
