Roan Mountain Elopement

We met on a chilly fall afternoon at a beautiful airbnb tucked away in the mountains of Boone. Cass was so excited to get dressed and see Chris when I arrived. She smiled and laughed as she got into her dress. As we walked out to the deck I felt the rush of calm sweep over both of them. They were so relieved to be with each other. We then headed to a beautiful trail tucked away on Roan Mountain for the ceremony. Everyone hiked up, out of breath and laughing the entire time. Once we reached the top, family gathered around them to witness there exchange of vows and my hearted melted watching them both laugh and cry over their sweet words to each other. It was amazing, they are amazing, and I feel so honored not only to have been a part of their special day but to walk away with new two friends.
