The process

Most likely, you’ve never been photographed and you think its super awkward, listen, I totally get it. I promise, I’ve seen it all and It’s truly all about the experience. I’m that person that will go above and beyond to create a comfortable environment, make you laugh and truly cultivate the best time ever. For example, I show up to your wedding/session (by this time we know each other through phone calls, text and email) and just start chatting like we never left the last conversation. I start to photograph you through a quiet approach. Not to worry, I will give you cues and direction along the way. I photograph a true representation of our time together. The in-between moments, real time, the ones you don’t plan for, the ones you do and everything in-between.

The number one thing I tell everyone is to be present. Try not to worry about things out of your control like windswept hair (One of my favorite things), your dress getting dirty, etc. Live in the moment and trust the process. I need your trust. Trust that through our conversations, I see you, your wants and I will do my very best to convey that through images.

 FAQs

  • I’ve always had some type of camera in my hand since I was a teenager but went full time in 2015. I’ve been a full time photographer for 6 years now and have photographed over 100 weddings and elopements.

  • I’m based in Asheville, NC but travel. Asheville, North Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina have tons of incredible places with mountains, waterfalls, canyons, lakes, that I know you would love! But If you already have a desired location in mind outside of the state, my travel fees are included in all of my collections so no worries of additional costs!

  • Just shoot me an email with desired dates and details. I usually like to hop on a face-time/phone call to get to know each other a little better. From there, I will send over a contract. I require 30% retainer to secure your spot, The remaining 70% is due 60 days in advance for weddings, 30 days in advance for shoots.

  • Who else is ready for covid to vanish as fast as it appeared? If covid, illness, etc. affects your wedding or session we still have a few options. I have put in place rescheduling options, refund policies or the choice to elope. Either way IF something were to happen, I got you!

In the case of weather conditions, I always encourage to embracing whatever weather comes our way. I’ve been in situations where it called for rain and the couple chose to embrace the elements. We always have the best time when this happens! Now if its a harsh, coming down flood, of course we will reschedule.

  • Honestly, I always over deliver. I truly do not believe in withholding any images from you. They are your memories and I promise to capture them fully plus give more than enough to remember.

Typically, my turnaround time takes no longer than 2 weeks or less. I try to get them back in a timely manner so the feeling of your experience is still there.

Kind words

From the sweetest couples.

  • I could not have asked for better photographers to spend with us from sunrise to sunset on our wedding day. Hannah and her husband James are honestly the most incredible duo with the most beautiful eye for photography. We picked a location that had the most unbelievable view I could ever imagine and these two were able to capture it through photos in a way that most would not be able to. For that we are eternally grateful as we have the most vivid memories of our day to remember forever. One look at her Instagram page tells you everything you need to know. That is what sold me on choosing them and it was the best decision we made. The two most important things for our elopement were the photographer and the location and they both delivered beyond our expectations.

  • There are simply not enough descriptive words in the English language to describe how wonderful Hannah is. From first contact to final pictures, she was an absolute joy to work with. She photographed our sunrise wedding with her sweet assistant, her husband James, and we adored them both. Nothing ever felt forced or posed, she just encouraged us to be ourselves and the ease we felt shined through in the photos. Did I describe her as a magical photographer goddess? Yes I did, because that's exactly what she is.
